7.3b Trading during the Free Agent Draft Trades may involve drafted rookies, next year's rookie picks, players under contract, and picks in the current Free Agent Draft.
Proposed Rules: 7.1 In Season Trading Only picks in the next season's Rookie of Free Agent drafts can be traded. For example, during the 2020 KRFL season, only 2021 Rookie Draft picks or 2021 Free Agent Draft picks can be traded. Picks in either 2022 draft are after cannot be traded.
7.3a In Draft Trading - Rookie Draft Trades may involve rookie draft picks in the next unstarted rookie draft only. For example, until the 2020 Rookie Draft begins, only 2020 Rookie Draft picks can be traded. Once the 2020 Rookie Draft begins, then 2021 Rookie Draft picks can be traded. But 2022 Rookie Draft Picks cannot be traded until the 2021 Rookie Draft begins.

I would oppose this amendment because we already have a trading committee which has the power to reject one sided trades. I also believe a free market is the best way to allow a team to prosper and rebuild and this amendment appears to place further restrictions on how to run your team.

------------- While the trading committee is active and has been used, it has rarely rejected trades. I don't see that as a good fall back to a proposal that has the support of a number of members.
I am thinking of making Jimmy G available for trade this offseason. When the raitings come out in a couple of days - or the disk comes out at the end of April, are you saying I can't trade Jimmy G for a 2021 draft pick? I can only trade him for a draft pick for our draft that starts in June? If so, I vote no. Really limits - potentially - who I can trade with.
