News Item: For 2021 Season Only, Change in Rule Allowing a Player to Be Cut Without a Salary Cap Penalty
(Category: KRFL Commissioner Announcement)

The current rule is:
13.4 - Any veteran player whose contract has not expired must be protected or cut with a salary cap penalty unless they have a DUR rating (durability) is no more than 3 (i.e. is 3 or less) as noted in Rule 14.14b.

Because of inconsistencies with the Durability ratings of some players with only a few game being on a NFL team's active roster, For the 2021 Season ONLY, Rule 13.4 will be amended to say:
13.4 - Any veteran player whose contract has not expired must be protected or cut with a salary cap penalty unless they have played in 3 games or less (based on the number of games played as listed on the player's stats/rating page in the game).

Please make note of this for the annual Roster Cut Down Week which begins May 23rd.
