I have created this new league forum for 2021 league business. I will be adding the sub-forums soon, stay tuned.
The post 2020/2021 season / Pre 2021 Roster Cut Down Salary Worksheet has been posted to the League Files section. Please look over your roster and if you find any errors, please tell me. You will see one change in player coding. The players drafted in last season's free agent draft are still listed as "FA". However, they now have a number after the "FA". The number represents their "Contract Season", in other words the season in which during the annual Roster Cut Down period you need to decided to either give them a contact or release them to free agency. So, all of the players you drafted in the 2020 Free Agent Draft are listed as "FA21" as you will need to decide to contract or release them in the upcoming 2021 Roster Cut Down period. In addition, all players formerly listed "## Rookie" have also been moved to this coding scheme. Why? Because we passed a new rule last season that instead of having one season to decide if we want to give a Rookie player acquired in the Rookie Draft a contract or release him, we now have two years. So for those players the ## after the "FA" is the season that decision will be made. Currently there are only FA21's and FA 23's. Why no FA22's? Because the Rookies drafted in 2019 fall under the old rule, and so the contact decision needs to be made this season. The Rookies drafted in 2020 fall under the new rule, so instead of the contract decision being in 2022, it is in 2023 for those players. Any questions on this, let me know.
The current draft board has been posted to the League Files section. It includes the draft order for all but the first four draft picks which are subject to the annual draft pick lottery.
I'll be adding the other 2021 league forums soon, included the forum listing the 2021 Franchise Player salaries and the list of Franchise/Tender eligible players on each team (that information can also be found at the bottom of each team's page on the their Salary Worksheet).
Also be on the lookout for updated league records and possible a league encyclopedia from Jeff Paulson.
I will probably add a new poll on the home page who you think will win the 2021 SuperBowl, so watch for that.
Lastly, if any team is thinking about updating their team logo or changing their team nickname, let me know. I'll help your update/change your team logo. You may have noticed the Tampa Bay Bandits have already made a team color change to Black and Gold.
