I want to take this opportunity to welcome the newest members of KRFL...

It was a very unusual off-season in that three owners decided not to continue due to personal/life/work issues. I feel very fortunate that I have found what I think will be three excellent replacement owners. So please welcome...

-> Jon Wolgamuth as the new owner of the Des Moines Monks. Jon is taking over the former River City team.
-> Don Brenner as the new owner of the Philadelphia Hessians. Don is taking over the former London team.
-> John Toth as the new owner of the Pittsburgh Pythons. John is taking over the former Brick team.

I will get the graphics on the website home page updated soon with the new team logos.

As you can see, with two of these three new members, along with Bob in Bensalem and Pete in Kutztown , we have four representatives of the state of Pennsylvania (throw in our KRFL champion Jim Rice who lives in Ohio but has the Penn St. franchise it is five). Which, as long as I bring up geography, if anyone wants/needs to change divisions because they've had difficulty scheduling divisional games because of time differences, let me know. I think our divisions are still fairly well organized in time zones based up where members live, but let me know. League rule 3.0 does allow for it.

I believe everyone else is returning for the 2018 season, but I have officially opened up the Member Roll Call thread on the website. Please go to http://www.aaroncraneinstitute.com/football/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?11929 and indicate you intend to return for the 2018 season (new members please do so as well).

Also, please take a look the league calendar on the website. I've included all important deadlines and the draft schedules over the next six months.

Any questions, let me know. Again, welcome to Jon, Don and John!

Mark Blume
