Each year we have a process wherein we accept amendment proposals to the Rule Book (Constitution). After a period of proposals and discussion, final revised amendments are posted for mandatory voting with a 2/3rds majority needed for an amendment to pass.

Use the 2015 League Business Forum to propose and consider amendments.

From the League Secretary, Steve (INV):

It is time to consider amendments to the KRFL Constitution/Rule Book. The current Constitution is available on the KRFL web site under “League Info” in the upper left hand corner.

The calendar for the amendment process is as follows:
Monday, March 30 – Proposed amendments can be posted here for review by the membership. Comments and suggestions for changes to proposals can be posted also.
Monday, April 13 – The proposed amendment in its final form is posted and seeks three nominations from other members in order to gain a spot on the formal ballot.
Monday, April 20 – Those proposals that received the required nominations are put into the 2015 Ballot and posted. Every KRFL member is expected to vote on each amendment before Friday, April 24.
Monday, April 27 – Formal results of the ballot are posted. The updated Constitution will be posted to the site shortly thereafter.

If you would like to submit a proposed change, please use the following format:
- Impacted Rule: List the section number of the current Constitution. If new, say “new”.
- Proposed Change: List the language of the change you would like to make to a current rule. Highlight differences.
- Explanation: Explain why you feel the change/new rule is needed.
