Congratulations to Valentino on his second KRFL Championship and to Steve on a fantastic season that came up just short.

With the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, we bid adieu to two long time members, Cliff Dolgins and Mark Haucke. Best wishes gentlemen. The door is always open for your return.
With that, I want to welcome two new members of KRFL... +Trey Morris will be taking over Mark's team and has renamed the team the Appalachian Wookiees. Trey was referred to the KRFL by James Riley. Thanks James! +Maddi Bieber will be taking over Cliff's team and has renamed the team the Allentown Mules. Maddi is Rick Bieber's (Warrington) daughter. Thanks Rick! Welcome to both Trey and Maddi. Since I have not gotten messages from anyone else that they will not return in 2024, I assume everyone will return.
In the meantime I will get working on updating and posting a 2024 season salary worksheet and draft board. Getting Trey and Maddi's team logo's on the website. And getting the 2024 season calendar set up and posted on the league website. The league encyclopedia file, updated with the 2023 season, has been posted in the History section under League Files on the website. I will get the career and single season records updated and posted soon.

The 2023-24 KRFL Season Championship game will feature the Atlanta Alligators and the Vancouver Commodores. Congratulations to both Valentino and Steve on getting to the championship game. The Championship game league file has been posted to the league website.
The game will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona, site of the 2023 NFL Superbowl, with no home field advantage for either KRFL team. However, Vancouver is considered the home team based on their better regular season record.
Steve will be playing in his first KRFL championship game. Valentino will be playing in his second championship game, He won the KRFL SuperBowl in 216 beating Salem 25-24. GOOD LUCK to both Steve and Valentino.
Please let me know when the game is scheduled.

Conference Championship Games Due January 23 at 10pm Eastern & KRFL News
KRFL Conference Championship Games - Due 1/23/24 at 10pm Eastern. The Conference Championship file is posted on the league website.
We are down the Final Four teams, and the top seeds in each conference, playing for the Conference Championships. The NFC Conference Championship is #1 seed Atlanta Alligators hosting #2 seed Des Moines Monks. Atlanta beat Des Moines 38-20 week #8 in Des Moines. The AFC Conference Championship is #1 seed Vancouver Commodores hosting #2 seed Cleveland Dogs. Vancouver beat Cleveland 25-7 week #6 in Cleveland.

With that we will have some changes next season.... First, Salt City will be relocating to Baltimore and become the Baltimore Fire. And we know New York will be seeking a new coach. We have one on board thanks to James Riley. James referred Trey Morris to KRFL and Trey will be taking over the New York team unless another team opens up. Trey also lives in Kentucky and will rename his team and become the Appalachian Wookiees. Welcome Trey and Thank You James!
