8.3 - Waiver Claims throughout the season will be awarded based upon the year's draft order.
Just stating the obvious: teams that underachieved in the previous season would get rank-ordered preference in the rookie draft, free agent draft and throughout the upcoming regular season for waiver claims. That’s a lot of reward for poor performance.
We need to separate the two proposed amendments in this thread. My adjusted amendment will use Inverness' proposal that waiver order should be decided by draft order the first week and by power rankings after. Ed, you need to make another amendment eliminating the right to keep waiver pickups the next season.
