NFL Game Day active Rosters are 48 players. Do you think having something less than 55 potentially active players (all non-injured players) for a game is too many? If "yes", how many players and is your preference to have the coaches make the decision of who is inactive each game or let the game engine do it?
for this year, have all 55 players active. next year move it back to 52.
I will be making a rule proposal for next season (2022) to change either back to 52 or to 53. My thinking is once we get past this season, since we only have 24 teams in the league, we should be able to field competitive teams with mostly full-time players and not need rosters any larger than NFL teams.
