Salem has quite a lot of offense available to help your team! QB Ben Roethlisberg 3803 yards, 33 TDs, 10 INTs. Was sacked only 13 times. 94.1 rating. 10+ durability. Makes only 2 million! No contract.
Last year, 3 QBs went in the 1st round (10 million). There stats: Kirk Cousins - 4,265 yards, 35 TDs, 13 INTs, sacked 28 times, 105.0 Rating Matt Ryan - 4,466 yards, 26 TDs, 14 INTs, sacked 48 times, 93.3 rating Gardner Minshew - 3,271 yards, 21 TDs, 6 INTs, sacked 33 times, 91.2 rating
Safe to say, if Roethlisberg were in this draft, he would probably go for 10 million. You can have him for just 2.
Speaking of the draft, there are only 2 full time QBs available to be drafted - Tom Brady (who is franchise eligible) and Drew Brees (who played in 12 games).
Rookie picks, OG, CB, DE, S are my top needs. Rookies picked in last years draft with potential are also of interest.
RB Chris Carson 141 carries, 4.8 AVG, 5 receiving rating. Carson makes 3 million, final year of contract. Only 2 other players in the draft have a higher AVG than Carson's 4.8 - Derrick Henry (who is franchise/Tender eligible) and Gus Edwards (who is useless in the pass game.)
Again - looking for rookie picks, OG, CB, DE, S and rookies who were drafted last year with potential are of interest.
WR AJ Green Green caught 47 balls, with a receiving rating of 5 and a durability of 10. He makes 2 million, no contract (he just signed with Arizona this offseason). A later round rookie pick this year or next year would be just fine for Green.
G Shaq Mason 7 rated guard (8 against run, 6 against pass), rated for few penalties. 8+ durability. Makes $5 million, no contract. I am up against the salary cap and can't afford to keep him, so a later round rookie is all it will take.
T Kaleb McGary I have 3 tackles on the roster. McGary was a first round pick in 2019. He is rated 5.5, 6 against the run, 5 against the pass, rated for fewer penalties and has a 9+ durability. Makes 500k with no contract. Get yourself a good, young, cheap tackle.
