So we don't want KRFL to reflect what happens with the top picks in the NFL? Why not?
The NFL salary cap goes up year by year. KRFL does not. We used to limit how much a player could make ($10 million). Now we don't. Now you want to increase a rookie's salary, but again - the cap stays the same. Players salaries keep rising in our league, but the amount we have to spend has stayed the same.
I think by adding another year to the rookies, our salaries will free up a bit and the rookies become more valued.
