I thought trades were to be done by 10pm eastern time the night before?

There is no such requirement. The only require are
TRADES NEED TO BE POSTED BEFORE THE ROUND BEGINS. (preferably they are reported the evening before by 10pm EDT)
TRADES MUST BE POSTED AND CONFIRMED ON THE LEAGUE WEBSITE BEFORE THEY ARE EFFECTIVE.
