Vancouver trades a Rookie #7 pick and a FA #18 draft pick (the first round of the $1.0mil picks) to Waunakee for FB Anthony Sherman. Vancouver will need to release a player. Waunakee will sign FB Patrick DiMarco
The first round of the $1.0mil picks is Round 13 this year. So pick 13.16 is the VAN pick in the first $1.0 mil salary round and was traded to Tampa (f/k/a Waunakee). The Rule Book states the $1.0 mil rounds begin with Round 18, but that was before some of the earlier rounds at higher salary amounts were eliminated. The Rule Book will be updated.
