The calendar for the amendment process is as follows: Monday, March 28 – Coaches can start posting proposed amendments to the KRFL web under the "Proposed Rule Book Changes" section on the forum site for review by the membership. Everyone is encouraged to make suggestions for proposals and to provide opposing views as needed. Monday, April 11 – Each proposed amendment in its final form is posted by the suggesting coach. Then each proposal must receive three nominations from other coaches in order to gain a spot on the formal ballot. Monday, April 18 – Those proposals that received the required nominations are put into the 2016 Amendment Ballot and posted to the web site. Every KRFL member is required to vote on each amendment before 8 pm eastern Friday, April 22. Monday, April 25 – Formal results of the ballot are posted. The updated 2016 Constitution will be posted to the site shortly thereafter.
If you would like to submit a proposed change, please create a NEW discussion thread for each proposal and use the following format: - Impacted Rule: List the section number of the current Rule Book. If new, state “new". - Proposed Change: List the specific language of the change you would like to make to a current rule. Highlight the differences from the current rule. - Explanation: Explain why you feel this change/new rule is needed.
