Welcome to the KRFL website. The Knute Rockne Football League was founded in 2001 by Jim Doyle, who served with distinction as our first commissioner thru mid-2003. The KRFL is a 24-team league that simulates the NFL using the Action PC Football game available from Dave Koch Sports (dksports.com). We have our own rookie draft, our own free agency, and our own salary cap and player retention system. Our 24 members have many diverse interests, but they share one common bond, the love of NFL football. For further information or to apply for membership, contact the KRFL commissioner.
A reminder of the Mandatory voting on this seasons rule change proposals.
Voting on ALL proposed rule changes is MANDATORY. Failure to vote will result in a $1.0 million penalty applied to your Free Agent Draft Salary Cap. Your vote must be cast by Saturday March 30, 10pm EDT. The following teams have not voted: Allentown Appalachian Des Moines Moline Vancouver Warrington
Under Rule 5, the first four picks in the rookie and free agent drafts are determined by a draft lottery. The lottery will be held Saturday, March 30 and this year includes Moline, W. Seattle, Warrington and Pittsburgh.
The determination of the draft order of the first four picks in each round of the draft will use a lottery system using the following state lotteries in the order listed below. The Commissioner will go down the list and match-up the pre-determined lottery number for each team with the corresponding range of winning lottery numbers to determine the order of the draft. If we get to the bottom of the state lottery list below and do not have the draft order set, we will continue the lottery the following day with the same state lotteries. Once a team has been assigned a spot in the lottery if their number comes up again, they will be skipped.

Each team will be assigned every fourth number from 000-999 based on their seeded position, and the lottery drawings on a date to be announced in advance will determine the draft order. For example, let's assume Newark is the poorest team. Newark would be assigned the numbers 000-249... Hedonic might be assigned the numbers 250-499... Manchester might be assigned the numbers 500-749...Kendall might be assigned the numbers 750-999.
Now let's assume on the lottery date chosen, the numbers of the actual lottery drawing results for the first four lotteries above were: 773, 113, 919, 632. Thus, the team assigned the number 773 would draft first in this example (Manchester). The team assigned the number 113 (Newark) would draft second. The team assigned the numbers 919 (Manchester) is already drafting first, so we skip those numbers. The team assigned the number 632 is Kendall, so they would draft 3rd. The team drafting 4th must then be Hedonic, under this example.
Based on last season's results and the tie breaker process, the four teams eligible for the lottery picks and the numbers they have been assigned are: Moline: 000-249 W. Seattle: 250-499 Warrington: 500-749 Pittsburgh: 750-999
Good luck to all!

Once again this season, Jeff Paulson has been gracious enough to give the league his time and generated a list of the 2024 nominees to be voted on for the induction into the KRFL Hall of Fame. The KRFL Hall of Fame Committee, those coaches who have coached more than 200 regular season games (the equivalent of over 12 seasons) voted on 19 potential inductees. A players needed to be named on at least 75% of the ballots to gain induction.
The voting is complete and the 2024 class of the KRFL Hall of Fame has been elected as follows. • QB Tom Brady - KRFL Career leader in passing yards (72,283), passing touchdowns (607), second in career completions (6,272) and career passer rating of (101.0).
